'Plaza Grande' delivers the warmth that I'm seeking and missing from Latin America. The piece has a natural richness, an earthly heat like terracotta, clay, or red soil, almost soaked into the different reds of the paper and emanating from within. Although I can't make out specific people or buildings in this plaza, I feel the density of the hub, the community and structures mixing together and transferring energy.

Recommended by Rebecca(GalleryManager): This print speaks to me of Latin American folklore and mysticism. Paula Barragán’s work has a beautiful, narrative quality combined with colors and textures of her culture. Here there are only a few identifiable details - a bicycle, a dog, a person - but the story seems much larger.
